Bassam Jalgha

About

Bassam Jalgha is a Lebanese engineer and entrepreneur, and a co-founder of Band Industries, the company behind the Roadie automatic tuner. He earned a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the American University of Beirut in 2010 and taught mechatronics and control labs there for several years. He built an early prototype of the Roadie concept and won the top prize on the Qatar Foundation's televised competition Stars of Science.

Achievements

• Won the top prize on the Stars of Science competition for an early version of the Roadie concept.
• Co-founded Band Industries and served as its CTO.
